Who is worried about removal of mandatory mask wearing when you have bronchiectasis.

Yes definitely. I shall continue to wear mine where there are other people and to avoid close proximity as much as possible.

To be honest with you I feel so much better without it I have this condition and I’ve also had Covid so I guess the fair has burnt out a little

Hi bettyb65,definitely me that's for sure, but it is people coughing your way that is the problem as the mask you wear protects others better than yourself ,scary moments ahead.

In Scotland we dont know yet about rules regarding mask wearing changing. What ever happens I will continue to wear them in all indoor places, and anywhere else that I think is too crowded.

I will be wearing mine and I hope others too as really, mask-wearing is about protecting others. The R number is rising and although there may be fewer hospitalisations with vaccination rates going up, I still don’t want to get infected and have to cope with being ill with Covid and bronchiectasis together. Since lockdown I have had no chest infections at all.

I feel I have kept safe due to the enforced guide lines so will continue to keep to what I have grown used to : keeping a distance from others, wearing mask and hand washing etc. Would be lovely to be free of it all but in my case, bronchiectasis and lung damage, I feel I should continue to take extra care of myself.

Yes, me too. I was appalled to hear the new Health Secretary say that even if there was a sign in a train saying, "Please wear your mask", if he judged the train wasn't crowded, he wouldn't. Sometimes we should do things to care for other people, not just ourselves.

I will continue to wear a mask if I go into a shop or busy indoor space.

Definitely if I have to use public transport.I’ve not really felt the need to wear one outdoors if I’m not too close to anyone.

I’m in the states and will continue to distance and wear a mask. I get my 2nd Pfizer jab this Wednesday. Too many variants for my comfort zone. There is some talk of a 3rd jab down the road. I’ll be overly cautious.
