Can't ensure no wait , fracture clinic notoriously is often busy . But at least I have an appointment for assessment, plus getting the details on the system. However Warwick does a fracture clinic too plus with the virus restrictions less people are being seen in clinics on face to face basis.

Hi SquirrelsHolt, It took only about halve an hour in the hospital. They have changed the boot to a heel & toe shoe. Two Drs have looked at the fit. and confirmed its a metatarsal break about in the middle of the bone but should heal quite normally given around six weeks. The clinic was busy as usual but I have seen it with much longer queues. Don't have to go back unless theres a problem. so alls well again for time being. Just a matter of time while it heels. Wish all my other problems could heal like my bones, what do you think ?

Oh yes Katieoxo60, wouldn't that be the best news ever - all our other medical issues could be seen to and dealt with so quickly and just to have that feeling that the Doctor's realise we are quite knowledgeable about them!Rest up now and don't go out on the town for a mad night out😜.
