Good Morning, hope you're all doing well. Has anybody tried the Keto Diet or taken the capsules? I read that they do help with COPD. I started yesterday and was curious to see if any body tried them. Many Thanks. Have a beautiful day

Nope but I've also been steadily looking into this! And slowly changing things so not quite a shock to system. Let me know how it goes! Oh and what capsules?

I started them last night, feel ok. If I do feel an improvement i will shout it from the roof tops. Here's a pic of the ones I bought. Hope you're having a good day

I do the occasional keto meal but its not something I stick with, just enjoy some of the recipes.

Do let us know how you progress, with the Diet capsules.

Best wishes

My husband has been researching the keto diet and I make keto bread rolls, cookies, egg custard, mug cake I’m trying to keep my carbs down as much as possible as my blood sugar is highish though I’m not trying to loose weight whereas he is. I believe the key to keto is very few carbs a bit more protein and lots of good fats x

Good Morning. I put in my order straight away. Fat Loss and helps with COPD I thought Christmas had come early...Have a beautiful day

I use a low carb diet every lent to bring my weight back down to 62 kgs, so I'm on one at the moment. Since Pancake day, I've lost 2.5 kgs, with one to go.

It is fine to follow that style of diet for a while, but not long term as it can cause kidney problems, especially if you increase your protein foot intake to compensate for hunger. It may also cause problems for those with stomach issues as carbs can help to buffer stomach acid during digestion.

An early version of the keto diet came out in the 1960s with Profession Yudkin's book 'This Slimming Business'.
