My Dr told me to go on a Paleo diet to deal with my problems... This is my feelings about cauliflower mash potatoes.........Cauliflower taste like someone ate a dozen boiled eggs, waited one hour , farted into the dirt.. Then tended to that fart dirt lovely for two months , until it grew into a fart flower...Harvest it on the hottest day, ripest day of the year, boiled it for thirteen hours then tried to fool people into thinking it just taste like mash potatoes..... my rant.....

I would like to know who that doctor is, they are very forward thinking! Diet makes an immense difference if you think of the association between silent reflux and breathing- this is what I have discovered anyway!

The Dr is a MD plus practices in food health with vit.. The Dr is in NS Canada my MD didn't have the time so I paid out to see a Dr that pratices both.. She said that I have low grade inflammation that is causing all my problems with lung infection high blood pressure OA sleep problems acid reflux ,diabetic .. Asthma ... the list goes on with me.. We are eating to much of the wrong foods that are making us sick.. In Canada Dr's are telling the patients to go low carb but don't have the time to explain .. This Dr gave me one and half hours it cost me 175.00 can claim it on income tax plus Blue Cross... I'll post to see what changed in my health..

so with their open fires they created global warming and bought about their own downfall and only the vegetarians who ate cold grass survived and that's why the world is so boring :(

Reading between the lines I’d get the impression you don’t like cauliflower.

Probably best not to mention the cauliflower rice which is ... well yes, cauliflower disguised as rice.

Oh my goodness I love mashed potatoes (made with potatoes) I have so much it looks like something from Close Encounters of the Third Kind πŸ‘½

Clamdigger profile image
Clamdiggerβ€’ in reply toHungryHufflepuff

lol to funny ...... No butter maybe that is what the problem was.. Trying to think back 2,2 million years... So I moved myself up buy two million I feel that they did come across curry leaves while attacking a wild boar and put the two together....But they didn't have frying pans...I might go fishing collect some clams do some forging ... This is going to be rough as my skinny husband and his family who have long lives with no health problems eat cake and cookies .....

Ha Ha Thanks for that Clamdigger. I recall all 8 of us Children in the 50/60's having to line up every Sunday, having to Drink the water from Boiled cauliflower & cabbage. Mum would tell us it is the Best Vitamins we could have. Of course we had to eat the Veg with Sunday Dinner, We had a Smelly House every Sunday....No Mash though, only Roasties. xxxx

Thanks for the laugh and I agree with your description. My wife really likes it but the smell alone was enough for me to not even want to taste it. Then I tried it raw and it is much better than cooked, at least in my opinion, so if you don’t have to have it cooked try it raw, you may like it better.
