No details yet. Personally I think that until all people in the vulnerable group get their second dose and get full protection we will remain shielding. Boris as a very difficult decision to make and with unknown factors like the variations of the virus I think he would be wise to hold off for a few more weeks until a full picture immerges in regard to the clinically vulnerable.

I will be remaining to shielding as well. In 3 weeks time it will be a year of shielding, I will not be, impetuously, blowing that all away. But that is easy for me to say because I no longer work.

Agreed but for me it’s down to decisions made by Sturgeon and co. Wonder which way she will go?I’ll remain shielding until I’ve had my 2 nd vaccine at least.

Here in the states we’ve been told we still need to stay at least six feet away and continue wearing the mask after the 2nd shot. So many unknowns. We won’t have 100% immunity. 95% at best. Which is better then none. But no one knows how long the immunity will last. When the boosters should be given. Annually??? I intend to get the shots but I still feel frustrated and won’t be letting my guard down. I just want life to return to normal regarding pre COVID.

I agree with you Badbessie, I am staying shielding until well after my 2nd Jab, which should be by 6th May. I think until the masses have been vaccinated as I am in the CEV category. Having been shielding since last March, apart from Hospital and Doctors appointments, I guess I have just got used to it now, I have found other things to do with my days but do recognise I am spending a lot of time looking at screens. Take care and stay safe.xx

I don’t know but I believe WALES is now saying end of March for their shielders now. Scotland until further notice. We usually follow suit?

I am going nowhere until I get my second dose, had the first mid January as CEV, have now been in for one year, so time seems less important now.
