"Many vulnerable people who expected to be on ‘at risk’ list next in line for jab say they have been left out"

I know at least 2 people who are in this situation while my friend aged 50 was surprised to be offered it yesterday and is having it today !

It’s all a bit up in the air at times, depending on where you live. I have received an NHS letter today but am hoping to get a text from GP. I don’t want to have to travel miles when I can just walk around the corner.

Hope all vulnerable people have their jab very soon. Xxx

I can only agree for some reason my wife was not on the list. It was only after I questioned why my wife was not getting one when they rang me that it was sorted. But with 15 million to be vaccinated there are bound to be those that will be missed for various reasons. I do hope you and Pete get yours soon.

Thank you Bb. Pete’s had his first jab but I, as his carer, was flatly refused. I tried to reason with the receptionist but no. I’m hoping it won’t be long but I do have the NHS letter if I don’t hear from GP soon. Seems daft to travel miles when I’m just down the road from the community centre. Xxx

That receptionist needs a s..p! As carer you should have had the vacc with Pete and I know quite a few who have. Get in touch with your practice manager and tell them.xx

They should ring 119 and make an appointment themselves.
