Today I had my delivery of Vitamin D tablets through the post and a phone call from my GP to book me in for the Covid vaccination on Feb 7th at my surgery, I have no idea which vaccine yet.

To be honest I was expecting a written invitation in the post with a phone number to call. Nice that it was a personal phone call from my own surgery. I hope you get yours soon, It is horrible being kept on tender-hooks.

I am still waiting too, every time the phone rings I think it’s my appointment , but no. My OH had his jab at his local health centre , not the same one as mine , appointment by phone . Then later a letter from the NHS saying to contact them and arrange an appointment . Weird .

Hi 2greys, I can assure you it's worse being on tenterhooks.😜

Pleased for you, I am still waiting & waiting. I have reached the point where I just want the vaccine so I am not bothered which one I get, just to get some protection would be a relief. Hope all goes well with you jab.

Good news about jab 👍

Thats great 2greys re the vaccination. On Tuesday I had a text to let me know I'll be offered a vaccine booking by text. Ever since my pulse has shot up every time a msg comes through. Then this afternoon 3 NHS msgs come one after the other. The 1st says I'll hear within 2 months, 2nd telling me I shall be receiving a msg soon & 3rd telling me I'll 'receive an invitation within the next 14 days unless they have already done so'. So I shall continue to leap put of my skin every time my phone pings. I'll be a nervous wreck 🤪

Mine came by text from my surgery this morning(Same text route as some other contact by surgery before)with a link in it to book it on a convenient day/time. Booked in for Wed afternoon this coming week. Very slick and efficient process. I hope the giving of it will be too 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Good news all round. My mum had her vaccine yesterday and all went well with no side effects as yet. It was the Oxford one.

Have to wait for district nurse to give me mine. Have been told they are still doing housebound over 80s here. Will just have to be patient. Hopefully not too long!

Great News to Hear. Now, most of us are in Line for it. I am having mine at Home, being House Bound, have to wait for them to say when, not bothered about which one, just relieved to have it.

I had mine yesterday. It was the Oxford jab. No problems . Good luck with yours. No vitamin D though!

Great news 2greys 😃 my husband had the Oxford jab today at home Nurses were in and out , no problems. Hubby received a text on Thursday inviting him to a centre , explained he’s housebound and he was done before lunch today in his own bedroom. It’s certainly lifted his spirits , I’m sure it will do the same for you and everyone else still waiting xx
