Since May 20 I have had breathing difficulty. It feels like the right lung isn’t fully filling. GP initially sent me to A&E tests X-rays , ECG bloods all checked nothing identified.
Since then I have had ultra sound on gall bladder, heart , MRI scan of heart with dye injected, nothin found.
Pills to reduce acid as there was a burning sensation under the right diaphragm.
Still have breathing trouble, but improves when lying on my back.
Recently I have noticed a dull pain behind the breastbone and now the muscles alongside right shoulder blade is sore and hurts when breathing.
I’m struggling to get any involvement from my GP, he’s hiding behind Covid, only making calls, he has not examined me once. I don’t know where to turn, I’m worried in case this is something more sinister but it’s been going on for 9 months.
I know I need to go back to GP, but he’s not interested his priority is elsewhere.
Can anyone offer advice or recognise this? I don’t like looking at this over the web, but I’m getting desperate.

Hi sorry to hear you are struggling and I was wondering if you have had a CT scan? This would show more than an x-ray. I will leave anything medical to the more experienced members but will say you really need a spirometry (a breathing test) but these are suspended at the moment due to covid.
I had a breathing test recently at the spire hospital, I have PMI so use it to reduce waiting time. It was initially over video, then the consultant realised it was quite ridiculous , so invited me down to see him, , he concluded no wheezing, breathing was fine he could find no reason .
I have not had a CT scan, he was going to arrange it but after I chased it again, he called me to see if I was available xmas Eve if he could set it up.
I said yes, last I heard of him.
One other thing, my breathing appears to be worse when room temperature rises above 21C.
Sounds Asthmatic but I was given a pump which makes no difference.
I had a CT scan, I have a face to face consultation tomorrow, but he told me on the phone there is some kind of lesion on one rib.He wants me to have a bone scan.
No idea if we are close to finding the cause and how treatable is it.
