Firstly can I thank everyone for passing on good luck replies in my last post.
Well I went through the assessment and at the end of the week I was informed that I am a good candidate for a transplant but I need a further test done. My face must have been a picture, to say that I was gutted would be an understatement. It was then explained that my heart EF was slightly lower than normal and I now require a Cardiac MRI. Even though they said that this would not hinder a transplant, I was still disheartened.
Now that I have ample time to take all this in, the good news is it was not a definite no. So now waiting on an appointment for a MRI.
Always a little hurdle

Hi Ron, I can sympathise how you feel, went through the same, though mine was a Nodule on my Lung that delayed The Answer I was hoping for. After a CT Scan ,( 3 month further wait) I went on the List. I was Ecstatic. Good Luck with the MRI Ron, Keep us updated. XXXX
Hi, pleased to hear of your transplant. Don't get depressed about it, the extra test will be worth it. Many of us don't get the chance of a transplant take it with both hands, be grateful. Take the test and move on to a better life.
