Perhaps phone the nurses on the BLF helpline who will be able to guide you further on this.
Centrilobular emphysema is primarily damage to the airways and alveoli of the upper lung area, treatment to slow progression is usualy by means of inhaled Beta-agonists.healthline.com/health/copd/...
Try not to alarm yourself as your diagnosis may be at the mild stage and well supported by the recommended treatments but obviously only your consultant we be able to advice you of that.
In the meantime try to practise all those elements of healthy living for those with a diagnosed lung condition that you will often find talked about on here.
Sometimes the explanation for young(ish) people who have never smoked being diagnosed with emphysema can lie in a genetic condition called Alpha-1-Antitrypsin. This shows up in the blood so ask your GP for an A1A blood test to rule this out if you've not had this already. Take care
Cor blimey. The name of your diagnosis is enough to put the frighteners on anyone. Try not to worry. Youth is on your side. Once you know the facts you will be told the best course of treatment to help you live well. xxx Alberta
