Hi, Benney123. So sorry to hear you're feeling so fatigued. At the moment life is so strange that many people are feeling discouraged, and a lot of things can seem pointless. But fatigue can also be related to things like not eating healthily or drinking enough fluids, or being low on iron or Vitamin D, or low grade infection ( to name just a few things). Have you changed anything you do recently? Or do you have any other symptoms, such as an aching body, thirst, or similar?
Wishing you all the best.
thank for your reply i take vitamin d of 400 mic i think it is the only thing that as changed is that i cant use the gym and that i am in the 2nd shelding with this 2nd lockdown and that about it
Does that mean you're not getting to see other people at all now? That can be very discouraging.
am married and the wife is here most of the time but she does work and go shopping
Can you set up a sort of home gym, using things like tins of beans to do biceps curls, etc? When we exercise, our bodies release endorphins which help us feel good, and over time we feel more energised. The British Lung Foundation has videos about exercising at home and Pulmonary Rehabilitation which may help.
If the fatigue continues to plague you, and you can't use self discipline to push yourself to do things, it probably is time to have a chat with your GP again. Just hope he's more helpful next time.
All the best.
Try both of them -your GP for more generalised advice and the nurse to discuss your emphysema. Good luck.
