Blood clots causes?
. I had PE twice. My experience---
First PE after broken leģ then on warfarin 6 monthsnonly
Second PE. 10 years laterscraped leg , not banged or bumped , just scraped along edge of dentists chair. Then put on long term Apixaban
Just take care because it can be so easy for someone to bump into you in super market for instance,,
No doubt other reasons too
Did you do any blood analysis to check that it is a genetic because your body generated blood clots for just been bumped
Be always welling 🌹
No the second time was it was the same previously broken leg , all the veins in that lag are damaged apparently and the leg swells up in heat. I imagine varicose veins would be a risk too.

If you are prone to blood clots and on blood thinners, avoid taking vitamin K
What I have to do to specify the reason for blood clots DVT?
read all on the familydoctor.org link - basically talk to your doctor
I know that vitamin K will negate the use of Warfarin. I was told that there is no way to halt the action of other thinners ie Apixaban. Told it would take 48 hours for apixaban to clear. This was said by consultant for spinal op
I’m taking Revapixaban because with it no need for multi check
good you are aware of this.
I'm no doctor, although cramps are caused by many things check out NHS site.
You can also check pulmonary embolism on NHS site for further information on your query.
I think you are trying to self diagnose better to discuss your concerns with your doctor.
Best wishes
Mine was caused by undiagnosed atrial fibrillation which caused clot to go to lungs and nearly kill me. I had no clue I had afib - at the time - I certainly know now! Never ignore high blood pressure either as most times that's been tested during my 64 years it's been high and written off as "white coat syndrome". It wasn't.
The cause of mine has never been found or properly investigated so I am on Edoxaban for life.
