Is not feeling anything in the lungs bad?

Hello. Basically my concern is, I don't feel anything in my lungs. Before when I smoked cigarettes, I felt it in my lungs; inhaled menthol, would feel that reaching too, but now I don't feel anything. I don't have any shortness of breath; only when I am physically active (like running). Do have sputum every now and then.

As thear are no pain receptors nerve endings in the lungs you dont feel anything from your lungs. You can feel pain ect from your plura. The menthol would only be felt in your wind pipe, throat, sinuses ect
