NHS getting back on track ?

After waiting 12mths for an operation to remove a kidney stone I decided to write to my consultant ,I wrote a letter a fortnight ago and explained my situation and low and behold a letter arrived with a pre op appointment for next week and with a date two days later for my op, I did state I didn't want to jump the queue and I realised they were busy with covid but when were they starting none urgent operations again , the long and short of it is that through putting pen to paper ive been given the opportunity to shall we say resume normal practices, perhaps now I will spend more time in my bed on a night sleeping rather than counting the tiles ( there are 70 full and 33 cut ones)in the bathroom .

I wholly recommend anyone waiting for a procedure to put pen to paper ,it certainly can't make things worse.

As always breath easy everyone

Good News SB, Good for you. may do the same, though not waited as long as you. I Have a Cancer Growth on my inner Wrist ( I year since it was a Pin Prick) My GP said it was Nothing. They said because of Covid I will have to wait 4 months before they can remove it. Well, Winter Time, Infections for us lot and a Slow healing Process. I'll put Pen to Paper also. Keep Positive SB . Love C. XXX

it took some while to get used to my penmanship once again , lol first draft looked like a chicken had walked all over it

Lol. Funny show we have all become so proficient on the Qwerty keyboard, but holding a pen just seems so alien to us all 😅

we just lose practice BL , tbh I would have been ashamed of my penmanship when I was working if I had written the way I do now ,
