How weird, a million quit smoking over the fear of Covid-19 yet they have no fear of COPD, Cancer, and the multitude of other incurable smoking related diseases.
The time is right for a concerted effort to open their eyes to all the other diseases that smokers can develop. Time to strike whilst the iron is hot!
Good on you, keep it up and if you fail keep trying until you do. Once you have stopped you will wonder why you did not quit earlier. Eventually you will realise just how much it stinks and be ashamed that you have subjected others to it.
Hopefully, at your young age, you will escape the horrors of the damage and misery it can cause.......and yes I used to smoke, now paying the price for it.
Keep it up, it is so not worth smoking, a terrible habit which I know is so hard to quit. It has taken me almost 4 years to get my partner to quit, after I did guess what, just as happened to me, after 2 months from quitting she was diagnosed with COPD as well. Fortunately only moderate as against mine as severe, almost very severe which it is now, along with lung cancer 30 months ago which fortunately is now in remission.
