I'm such a believer in wearing masks ,my problem is ,as I'm sure like those of us who are breathless find when using a mask breathlessness feels worse while wearing a mask ,anyone know of a mask that is made for us that suffer breathlessness
Thank you for info 2greys. It is sensible. But as others say it is strange breathing in your own air. I have found glasses mist up too. How do we let people know we are exempt is another issue and even though we are exempt we can still pass on the virus if we are a carrier. So confusing all these issues a virus has caused. Does anyone know if we will get our flu injections this year ? Stay save and take care.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock said planning was already under way for dealing with the expected surge in demand on the NHS this winter.
The government had procured enough flu vaccine to roll out the "biggest flu vaccine programme in history" and was working on setting up a coronavirus vaccination programme should a successful vaccine be found, he added.
I don’t like wearing a face mask but I will and do. I think our problem with breathing in it could maybe solved by some kind of small kind of a cage to keep the mask from the nose and mouth. I find that I’m breathing mine into my mouth making it difficult to breathe. If masks were worn in the first place it wouldn’t have become the pandemic that it is. So I’m glad it’s in force. I think it should be compulsory every time you leave your house. Is there anyone that is clever enough to invent a small kind of cage? What does anyone think? Good idea or not?
I have only worn one properly for an extended time, not just a few minutes as a trial, to have a PET Scan. I found that a tight fit was better, less space meant less trapped, warm, stale air. The problem is that the anxiety factor, with the mouth and nose being covered does come into play, which does not help with breathing.
