I was thinking yesterday, I need a quiet patch of grass under a π³ tree somewhere. So, this is perfect. Thank you Blackbird6 . xx ππΏπ
Lovely light but i personally would try cropping the bottom 1/3 as the green is not my favourite colour, andi love the trees.
I 'm not very good at framing my photos when i take them and usually end up by cropping most if not all..
I do crop some but this one was taken with the path in mind to follow the track up to where the sun is shining through..
Had I cropped the grass the imaginative side of where does the path lead to would have disappeared completely.
The imagination is being allowed to travel does that make sense...
my pictures are taken not just because the surroundings are beautiful but to allow people to escape if thats what they choose to do πππππ
I do see what you mean now you tell me. I can see a broad path going across from left to right and a line of sunlit grass that leads you directly to the light. Very imaginative
And i like what is a heavily cropped line of trees which is what i saw when i first opened the list of posts, and which grew into your picture when opened your post. Very interesting as a panorama. And then turned into your path to enlightenment?
I tried to post a photo nothing like your beautiful views , just a flower in close but it disappeared. It has proved difficult altogether using an Android system
Beautiful. Makes me want to up sticks and move to your part of the country. Of course, I'd then be frustrated as I couldn't take the walks you do so I'll settle for admiring and enjoying the photographs you share with us π xx
There a lots of areas that you can drive around and get out for a wander ..but hopefully the pics will suffice ππ where are you living now π
I live NE Lancashire, close to the Yorkshire border. We have some lovely countryside in the area. I am shielding but would love to be able to get out just for a drive round. Fingers crossed they allow that at some stage.
Ah I know Yorkshire is beautiful..I hope you can use some time for a drive your still allowed to exercise and stay socially distanced..

I have a cropped picture thst comes up and when i click on it it changes to yhe portrait mode with lots of green . How is this happening ? I nmuch prefer the wide panoramic one but it is elusive.
what a glorious reminder of the great things in life - we are all so encased in concrete, mechanisation and electrical impulses along with the capitalism of wanting yet more of what we don't need
we all lack more of the sort of grounding that nature gives us
thankyou for taking us all back there Blackbird as we sit surrounded by the impact of what modern civilisation appears to wish to bestow on us: bricks and mortar and the clamouring machinery charging about the reducing countryside may have its advantages, just let me loose in the wondrous woodland anytime
Blessings
Youβre awesomeππΌ have a good one. I got tested for CoVid today, its( the test) not that big of a deal. They made me take it bc Iβve got an elective procedure Tues for injection for migraines so to enter that hospital youβve gotta test negative. Since Iβm not sick Iβm pretty sure itβll be fine
