Hope you are all coping with confinement , I think by the end of all this I’ll probably be agoraphobic, I think it’s going to be very odd to be able to go further than my garden lol , I have been fortunate so far that we have had good dry weather here in Somerset, with quite a lot of sunshine , don’t think it will be so good if it’s raining and dull though .

Anyway boredom has started to set in as I’m wandering around looking for stuff to do ( trying to avoid eating 😳which I seem to be doing a lot of ) am now actually waiting and looking forward to my washing to finish so I can hang it out on the line 🤣😂 how sad is that

We’re coping well Cales, at the moment anyway. I’m like you though, worried about whether we actually want to go out at all eventually.

I am thinking the safe distance may be with us forever, I wonder then if we will evolve to having longer arms and develop an electrical charge in our finger tips whenever we touch our face

I’ll try not to 🤣 crikey Skis you don’t want much do you 🥴 do you know how hard it is to juggle getting sheets on the line while trying to churn out cider I’m only 5’ nothing there is only so much any tiddler can achieve 😂😂

If after just a week or so of lockdown I’m feeling as you describe what will it feel like after 12 weeks or more! I’m quite happy being isolated , having an excuse not to go out or talk to people other than my husband . A friend wanted to pop by this morning and wave at me through the patio window and I was horrified. I don’t WANT to see anyone !! I sent a message back politely saying pretty much that. 🤨

Awe I’d love to see my friends and have coffee , but I know that I can’t , just hope when get through this we can all have a great big get together and celebrate survival 😊😊

I was wondering the same, whether when we’re allowed out of our confinement whether I’m just going to be too anxious to go out of the gate or whether I’ll be desperate to get out there. I’m currently getting over a chest infection/asthma flare. I’m desperate to get on with all the stuff that needs doing around the house but I’ve little energy to do so at the moment.

Shouldn’t laugh, but I did about your washing! I don’t usually go far anyway and generally keep busy with a variety of hobbies. I am bored to tears. I have plenty of jobs round the house but neither have the energy or inclination. We must try and not let depression sneak in. Weather forecast is good going forward - good washing weather!

It’s amazing when restricted just how mundane jobs take on a completely new meaning , next weekend we are going to put our tent up in the garden and pretend we are on our holidays 😂😂 it’s the crazy things that will keep us sane and stop the rising depression ❤️

We have a regular cleaning lady who comes in but have stopped her coming at the moment as she goes to others before us, uses her own equipment (including her own vacuum cleaner), has a husband and daughter at home who are still having to work. We were sorry to stop her but she was relieved as she didn't want to let us down but also didn't want to be responsible for bringing in the virus.

The upshot is that I actually look forward to doing the cleaning as it relieves the boredom a bit. Add to that the excitement of hanging out the washing and my day couldn't get any better!! Now that really IS sad, isn't it?

Totally get where your coming from, this isn't going to disappear after 12

weeks. But I'm managing to fill my days, play with the dogs, bit of exercise, cooking and on my sewing machine. Getting texts all through the days, so am coping, but still having down days.

It’s hard not to get down , and yes I agree it’s not just going magic away after 12 weeks it will take time to get back to anywhere near normal , but we have got each other in here to help us through this 😊😊 take care xx
