This was one reason I posted the link to the legislation this morning. I have a great deal of respect for our police, who I think do an enormously difficult job. But I’m quite disappointed by the guidance some Chief Constables are issuing to the officers on the street. Eg Avon & Somerset. If law abiding “mature” women like me lose trust & confidence in the police, we’re in trouble
