Sounds like you’re going up the wall, Don. Beginning to feel like going AWOL myself.
It isn’t fun being confined maybe because I’ve already had a period of staying at home when I had my knee replacement. A friend of my husband just called totally oblivious to the fact that we’re isolating . My husband said it was alright to let him in. I didn’t think it was a good idea. All he did was complain that the pubs might shut and say the Coronavirus was the same as flu! I don’t like being rude to guests but I’m afraid I told him what I thought in no uncertain terms.

I had both my knee joints replaced at the same time nearly 20 years ago so you can imagine i was pretty well stuck for a time. My wife didn't drive but in the end a very nice lady from across the road took me a ride around in her car once I'd managed to crawl in. What a joyful half hour that was, I was ready to blow my top. Now I'm older and calmer and more used to being incapacitated for spells. I my rhyme is rather exaggerated. 😁

Its only been one day since we started to stay holed up in our terraced northern mansion an already my wife is getting cabin fever. Nightmare scenario similar to the film The Shining , and a mad person with an act is uppermost in my dreams. We had planned to have my eldest daughter staying as she is currently between homes, mty youngest put her foot down and said we needed protecting from possible infection and she should move into her house. Though it means we have people to do our shopping. We plan to drive to the North Wales coast tomorrow and sit and look at the sea and take a walk along the prom.

Unfortunately i know the feeling. And it's only week one of total isolation. I have been avoiding people, places for what feels like forever befor that but it was just over a week lol but stay put i must so stay well I can 😷
