The figures coming from China support your post. Yes CV19 can be serious but a lot of people do survive. Some will will not even show symptoms. Strangely some people in the at risk groups only have mild symptoms whilst others in the low risk groups have more serious symptoms. I think the media have overplayed many aspects causing a lot more fear and anxiety than necessary. I am in isolation at present and as long as we maintain that I should be fairly safe. My biggest fear is my wife will strangle me after both of us have been coped up for so long.
We were both having a laugh yesterday about old trappers etc had to stay in their cabins for weeks or even months
during the heavy winter snow, and developed a thing called Cabin Fever. Resulting in violence and murder as you could imagine. Hope it doesn't get that bad, luckily we've probably got more space than they had. Anyway I'd probably starve to death without my better half.😂
Hello bobbyfloyd. Hope your keeping well. Think its down to pot luck if people survive or not with all the survival stories around its encouraging. Some newspaper reports and so called experts over exaggerate the facts or possible fatalities. 1 guy on the tv said in the uk 20,000 deaths. If you look at other countries figures from this virus. Its nowhere near this figure. We all need to keep Positive and well as possible. And keep each other motivated like we do. Brian
There are just too many people in power or in media that are motivated to bring social culture as we know it too a halt. Now they have an excellent tool. Not to minimize the threat from such a germ, but in general it is hard to trust so much of the numbers and who is reporting them. There just isn't enough on stories of high risk people that have recovered.
Read somewhere the other day that 17,000 people died of flu in 2015 which was the year I ended up in ICU in a coma for 19 days with flu and pnuemonia and respiratory failure. It just puts things a little in proportion when I reflect on it. We in this community have been very vulnerable for a long time and remindng myself lessens the fear quite a lot. Stay safe everyone.
