Obviously no one can diagnose online. I had a similar experience which sounded more of a rattle than a pop. According to my doctor it was a mild upper respiratory tract infection. He said viral and it did clear up without antibiotics. I would ring your doctors and ask for a telephone appointment for advice. It did not effect my chest at all but if it is affecting your chest then perhaps ring 111 for advice however they are overwhelmed slightly at the moment.
