I read somewhere in a local rag that in the Manchester area the homeless are being visited, being issued with cleaning products etc and being given advice and if thought necessary being tested so at least something however small is being done in my neck of the woods.
Your post gives me hope that all humanity as not been lost that you think of others when in danger yourself. My niece is a social worker and part of that as been working with the homeless. Basically a plan as been made coordinated between the various shelters and volunteer workers. They cannot be forgotten as they could be vector for infection.

These people need looking after they are really vunerable, all these buildings that are stood empty could be used to house them no one should be homeless. Let's hope someone helps them. 😪 Bernadette xx
Yes it is concerning. The food banks are low and the homeless are still on the streets , though i did see on the news that some were being given a temporary place to stay . Its a crying shame that donations of food has gone down, that mentality of `dog eat dog ` rears its ugly head at times like this .
Thank goodness something is being done l just have'nt heard anything
We have to hope that people like the Salvation Army are upping the good work they already do with this group, I will take a look at their web site.
I believe food banks are low. But the homeless in some areas did receive a bonus of the food that had been bought in for the abandoned football matches being given to them.
