If we have to catch it,bin it ,kill it by using tissues what then do you do with the waste? Do you throw it in the bin and it ends up in landfill, flush it down the toilet so it ends up in the sewers or burn it.makes you think onwards for the disease spread .a conundrum

Covid 19,what to do
I also have bronchiectasis and clear mucus every morning, usually bag or flush the waste but never thought it through before where it ends up
I believe supposed to double bag it.
Don't forget to keep washing your hands after you chucked the tissue. I don't think flushing is a good idea, and when binned and double bagged the virus has a limited life so it won't contaminate the earth once in landfill (we hope) otherwise we are all stuffed.
The disposing of used gloves is what I am pondering, removal without contaminating the what once was the protected hand. mmm more hand washing I guess. (guess could just leave them in a soapy bucked for 2 days for the virus to die off)
Thank you for your reply, uhmm luckily I use nappy sacks and then bag to bin,oh the hand washing cracked sore skin they have been scrubbed to pieces and I am not infected .
Then what about all the plastic we are supposed to be reducing? It's a minefield! 🤔
On and on it goes help the planet or the people uhmm difficult one
Why on earth would you use nappies? more polluting than biodegradable plastic bags.
The dry cracked hands can be treated and fixed if you have the mind to communicate with your doctor or chat with your pharmacist. Washing hands only option IF you don't want to increase your risk of infections. You owe it to yourself, your family, your visitors, and any one else you may be in contact with. Its a no brainer option.
We’re lucky to have a fire,so burn our tissues.
Viruses die without a host, within a few hours to a few days.
