Hello 56life, I’m so sad to read about your dear mum and what she’s going through.

I would ask for proper treatment for her. She needs a doctor to visit at home. Does she use a nebuliser? That may help but seek medical advice first.

Please let us know how things go. Best wishes to you and your mum. Xxxxx

Hi, sorry to hear how poorly your mum has been,

Sometimes doctors seem to think giving oxygen is the answer to all breathing problems, I were sent home twice with a concentrator that I didn’t need! Although I did have ambulatory oxygen. They don’t seem to realise this can do more harm than good if not needed. The oxygen nurse in the area I live in sorted this out for me, maybe you could try requesting a home visit from yours.

I hope your mum is on the mend very soon 😊

Also, it would be worth buying an Oxymeter to keep an eye on her sats if you haven’t already got one, to make sure she doesn’t have too much oxygen. I purchased mine from Argos, you get them from lots of other places.xx

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. What I've noticed is the older you get the medical field in Europe dont have time or take the time with the elderly. That's my observance here on this site. I've seen alot of you say there doctor says your going to die. To me that's BS and diss respectful yo us. I'm very sorry I hope I dont make most you mad but that's what an outsider sees.

Gods Blessings to all.
