Pleurisy

Hi I’ve had pleurisy for over a month and have been given 3 courses of amoxicillin twice and recently been given a course of doxycycline and still no improvement I’ve had all sorts of test and all clear but I feel so unwell all the time and in pain

Awe bless you , it must be so awful for you. I would go back to your GP it's obvious you need stronger antibiotics, and please try to rest as much as possible, and also drink plenty so you don't dehydrate. Thank you I do have an appointment tomorrow but I feel like I’m going round in circles I’ve been admitted into hospital twice now and I seem to be fine but 2 or 3 days later it starts again I feel that there are missing something important but they say there is no reel cause for concern I’ve had all the test ct mri xrays bloods endoscopy and still nothing

Well I’ve seen the gp and they say it is on the mend and gave me another course of doxycycline for the fourth time so hopefully this is the end of all the problems
