I think I will give this site a rest for a few weeks, fed up with the tales of people hoarding and shortages of this and that. It's just repeats of the same thing every day, the same as the news. We have two cases near us but how many other people in this area have other infectious diseases, it's being blown out of all proportion. Keep smiling. Carole x
All this hype. : I think I will give... - Lung Conditions C...
All this hype.
Totally agree with you. All this hoarding not quite worked out the toilet roll hoarding thought it was a runny nose you got with virus.
Sorry to hear that Carole but I canβt say I blame you. I find it depressing too but donβt leave the site. You can always skip over the Coronavirus postings. There are still plenty of people requesting help and support with their lung conditions and all the positive postings to cheer you up.
Best wishes
Corin
Hi π Enjoy your Sunday Carole. Lovely sunshine βοΈ today in Somerset.
Hope you are doing ok and have a good day. Take care. Xx
I feel exactly the same Carole, March is always a bad month for me anyway, most if not all of my loved ones died during the month of March (today is the anniversary of my son's death). But we need to keep posting to keep the group going for the members desperately ill and no where else to seek help. Let's just battle on eh? πx
Nice post Don. This is a place to share our worries and if we can help others all the better. I'm fed up of it all too but having been a war baby and lived through rationing and shortages it doesnt worry me over much at the mo.
So sorry Don .
Well said Don, So sorry for you to have this Sad Month. Stay Well. xxx
I'm sorry about your boy Don. π’ *HUG* xx
So sad to hear that Don. I hope you find comfort in the memories you will have, and keep your mind on the improvements we hope April will bring. π
So sorry to hear this Don, lets hope this month passes swiftly for you, roll on April x
I think the panic buying is stupid as well myself!
That was a brief visit then caroleoctober, enjoy your time away and hopefully next time you visit posts will be more to your liking.
I personally just come and go without announcement - that way don't have to get involved with anything not to taste.
All the best
Not a brief visit Bkin, I read the posts every day and have done for more than ten years!
I just notice the last time you posted anything was 24 days ago. You can of course be selective in what you read, skip those posts that obviously irritate you and engage in the ones or not you enjoy. Either way enjoy your time wherever you choose to be.
All the best.
I have to agree. A bit fanatical so I just skip over the "virus posts" . See you when you come back Carole. xx ππ
Oh, this is sort of sad! Some of our members have virus related anxiety. Anxiety, it's a real thing and is causing them some hardship. I've been away from the forum for the most part lately, so perhaps I haven't read so much as to lose patience. Would it be great to have a board/forum dedicated to the corona virus, specifically. Just a thought.... Don, I am very sorry for the loss of your son...Having lost my daughter, I feel your pain. So sorry. J
I don't blame you, the same news being recycled, I'm just going to skip those messages. Don't stay away for long x x
