Went out to shop today not for any household items, went to a huge store called Trago and there was mountains of toilet rolls and soap, but saw one lady with at least ten antiback hand wash and another with a trolley full of toilet rolls i thought that was funny but on the other side of hoarding in our local asda an elderly went to do his shopping and there was no toilet rolls for him to buy and the soap and antiback was the same, now i find it unfair that elderly people are without these items, hoarding is not good and people should think of others as the elderly, now people are washing hands with vast amount of different items so where have they been till now, this is amazing to me
hoarding everything. : Went out to shop... - Lung Conditions C...
hoarding everything.
Same here some people are to selfish to think of others
I agree some people are being really selfish there is no need for it. Where's the good British spirit gone where we all help each other out?
I really don't understand. Were people not washing their hands until now?? I guess the good thing to come out of people suddenly discovering the novelty of handwashing is that it's better for all of us. 🛁
Hello bobbyfloyd . Here in Japan there is a sign up to say you can only buy one pack of toilet paper per customer. Same goes with anti bacterial wipes etc. Hoarding is not allowed, but before this went into place people were buying too much. I worry for my mother. Hopefully people will regain their sanity sometime soon. xx 🍀🍃
I was nearly out of toilet paper but today managed to go into a local shop just as they put some out. I bought my usual 4 pack for me, 1 for my sister as she needed more, and a 3rd pack for any family or friends who might need it! x
i point out imodium may help if not see a doctor its nothing to do with corona you have an upset stomach
I always buy 45 toilet rolls at a time, every 3 months, from amazon, to save me having to carry them - I'm so glad I do! 🤣
Me too kind of, I get mine from Who Gives a Crap, recycled paper, prettily packed in paper, box can be recycled plus they give some profits to charity or plant trees or something. A box last nearly a year.
Lovely sunny day for us eh 😎
Yesterday I went to add paracetamol to my delivery for today and every single pack was sold out I could not believe it. I am allergic to aspirin and can only take paracetamol might have to ask my doctor for something for my severe headaches,
My daughter has Crohn's disease caused often by stress. Are these selfish hoarders thinking of people with Crohn's, IBS and other bowel diseases? They need a constant supply. Still,as long as THEY are alright......?
No these these are not People - they are animals no thought for others but themselves gggrrrhhh 😡😷😷 xx
I also have Crohns with a subsequent stoma . Soft tissues/ loo paper is an integral part of the hygiene process in maintaining the condition. Chopped up newspaper doesn’t bare thinking about 🤨
As paracetamol is already limited to two packs per customer how are people managing to clear the shelves of it? Do they keep going around the shop through the til and back to the start again? There’s a lot of selfish people out there!
Back to tearing up the newspaper into squares, eh!!
Catnip
Shops need to give limits and not allow bulk buying (that's what cash and carries are for.) And the self service tills need to have limits set . e.g. I thought you weren't allowed to buy more than 2 packets of paracetamol yet the whole of the shelf was empty. What do people who really need it do? e.g. if someone is starting an exacerbation.
I agree hoarding is wrong. You can’t eat toilet paper. If you haven’t got a bidet but are reasonably able it would not be too difficult to have warm water and old cloths cut from towels to clean yourself. The cloths can be rinsed after use and put in bucket of disinfectant, ready for the washing machine.
I was told once that the Government have an enormous stockpile of the old fashioned paper. The hard scratchy stuff like Izal. It was in the 1970’s I heard this.
