Hi their, I have just had a spirometery test and my nurse has put that I am 51 cm tall and 161 kg when I'm 162 cm and weigh 51kg. So the fact that all of this is wrong has made my test results invalid hasnt it ?

I think it was a genuine mistake on behalf of the nurse, but it does need correcting on case it has any bearing on the results of your test, ask for another test to been done if you are worried. Hope this helps have a lovely day and take care of yourself 😊 Bernadette xx

Hi I just went back repeated test peak flow 480 77% before bronchodilator after bronchodilator 73%

For this figure to be correct, you would have to be a 35 year old male. If not, then the percentages you are quoting don't refer to your peak flow. However, there's nothing to suggest that the data has been input incorrectly, otherwise the percentage figure couldn't have been calculated at all!

I noticed that your Spirometry result of three weeks ago was inconclusive ......is this the same test as you mention now?

I would ring your health centre and tell them about the mistake.

Hello I re took the test today on the same machine she said oh I have already tested you so she would have used my wrong stored details today only because I took a picture of it I noticed it has my BMI as 52 and my height at 51cm and my weight as 25 stone, I'm 8 stone and 161 cm all my results would be way off wouldn't they I will call

If you were an extremely small and fat gnome the results would be spot on,yes the evaluation will need redoing with the insertion of the correct data, you shouldn't need to do another test. :)

Thankfully you didn't have to redo a complete PFT as done in the hospital. :)
