Lung Reduction
I have had LVRS on both lungs in the last 18 months and feel so much better with my breathing and ability to spall the things I had previously had to stop.
My advice is go for it and hopefully you will get a good result. Good luck
Yes I've had lung reduction October 2018 wish I had it sooner . It has certainly helped as I had severe emphysema . I say go for it and wish you all the best . Oh by the way I'm 72 and wish I'd had it at 52 . Best wishes it's not a cure but it really helps with your breathing and day to day living .
Best wishes Babs xxx
Thank you for your reply I am 66 , I have been told by some that its good for around 5yrs then not so good ? I do know that each day is different so will so what they recommend.
It is nice to read the positive results from the two people that replied. Very encouraging for anyone considering or eligible for that surgery.
Hello! I am having a CT scan on Saturday and a angiogram, if the specialist deems I am a suitable candidate she will go ahead and do a lung reduction. It is a comfort to hear from people that have had it done! Is it just a day thing, or do you have to stay in hospital? I would appreciate any info. from people have that has gone through this.
