THE BACKROUND = AS WE ALL KNOW THERE ARE CERTAIN PEOPLE WHO ARE QUITE CONTENT WITH BRINGING DOWN COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT AND LOSING THEIR OWN LIFE FOR THEIR OWN PERVERTED " RELIGIOUS " VIEWS.

AS A CONSEQUENCE TO COMBAT THIS , ALL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS HAVE NOW INSTALLED EXTREMELY SENSITIVE EQUIPMENT , WHICH IS ALWAYS BEING UP DATED ... TO PREVENT PERSONS CARRYING UN AUTHORISED ITEMS IN THEIR LUGGAGE , ON THEIR PERSON , OR = INSIDE THEM ! ……………………………....

THE INCIDENT …= I HAVING SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK A FEW MONTHS AGO, ALONG WITH MY USUAL RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS, FOR WHICH I HAVE BEEN HOSPITALISED 35 TIMES IN THE LAST NINE YEARS, DECIDED TO GO ABROAD FOR SOME WARM WEATHER ETC TO RECUPERATE .. MY TRAVELLING COMPANIONS PASSED THROUGH THE SECURITY SCANNERS OK, , BUT AS I DID , ALONG WITH A MEMBER OF THE " SPECIAL ASSISTENCE " AIRPORT STAFF PUSHING MY OWN PRIVATE WHEELCHAIR , - ALARMS BEGAN TO SOUND , AND THE SECURITY STAFF SHUT DOWN THE SCANNER, AND THE COMPUTER SCREENS AND A SENIOR SECURITY STAFF MEMBER ,( NOT WEARING A UNIFORM ) , APPEARED, ARMED WITH PAPER- WORK ETC BEGAN TO QUESTION ME .( HE WAS ACTUALLY VERY NICE ABOUT IT) AND BEGAN BY SAYING = " IN KEEPING WITH INTERNATIONAL AVIATION LAWS, THIS INCIDENT HAS TO BE RECORDED AND DETAILS TAKEN ……….

OUTCOME …= SO WHAT CAUSED ALL THIS FOLKS ….? , - IT TURNS OUT THAT A CERTAIN MEDICATION FOR MY HEART CONDITION CONTAINS, AMONGST OTHER CHEMICALS , A SUBSTANCE EXACTLY THE SAME AS FOUND IN = WAIT FOR IT ! …=…." TNT " EXPOSIVES …. OH BUMS !!! , NEVER MIND , THE OFFICER TOOK MY DETAILS - AS REQUIRED BY INTERNATIONAL LAW , AND SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO BE RETAINED , EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW I WAS COMPLETELY INNOCENT AND WITH A JOYOUS SMILE , SAID JUST ONE THING TO FINISH …= " WE SECURITY STAFF ALWAYS LOOK AT A PERSON'S EYES FIRST - THEN THEIR LUGGAGE ETC ETC, ! " ,AND SENT ME ON MY WAY ,TO JOIN MY SOMEWHAT SHOCKED PALS ! , BY THE WAY , I CAN'T REVEAL THE PRESCRIPTION THAT CAUSED THIS , AS I HAVE REPORTED IT TO MY LONDON HOSPITAL ETC FOR THEIR INVESTIGATIONS ETC ….…. SO THERE YOU ARE FOLKS …..IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU , BUT , AS IN THE SONG …=.".IT WAS JUST , ONE OF THOSE THINGS " !!…...HAPPY TRAVELING !!!....…. AND KEEP TAKING THEM PILLS - WHATEVER THE OUTCOME !..….

I think I am on the same medication as well, to open up the heart arteries, let's just call it a nitrate without going into detail and no thumping me or I could blow your hand off

Reminds me of my recent trip to the US. My darling type 1 grandaughter automatically steps to the side, takes off her overshirt and puts her little bag containing insulin etc on the side. It then takes to officers and a supervisor to ( very nicely and with jokes) to pat her down, check that her dexcom is actually that and is indeed attached through her skin, count the needles and verify the insulin. Then she and granny who has been standing close by with ( I suspect) the same mefication for my heart as you openly in my bag, are sweetly waved through. Love it.🤣

Has your hospital come back to you . Is it something new in medicine or is tne alert a new one that has been introduced. Or even a new person in charge being keen. I went through a very strict. Procedure once when my camera bag and camera had to opened up and all the separate lenses taken out and looked through . This was on a flight from Newquay to Manchester and it was a new person being instructed rather thoroughly! Actually i had some thing else , i think it might have been batteries, in my pocket and they did not detect those ! I did point this out to them . I was just unlucky.

NOT AT THE MOMENT JAYBIRD ! - APPARENTLY, ACCORDING TO THE HOSPITAL , WHO PRESCRIBED THE DRUGS , THEY ARE WORKING WITH THEIR PHARMACY DEPARTMENT TO DISCOVER THE ACTUAL CHEMICAL SOURCE OF THIS = " TNT" EXPLOSIVE !!!!!, SO IF YOU HEAR AN ENORMOUS BANG , WHEREVER YOU LIVE , OR SEE ON THE TV NEWS OF SUCH AN OCCURENCE, YOU CAN CONCLUDE THAT I , WHO LIVES IN SOUTHERN ENGLAND , HAS BEEN " TRANSLATED TO A HIGHER SPHERE!!…_( RIP ) !

Hope that doesn't happen...but bound to happen to all of us at some point or t'other!! But that is amazing this tnt type stuff.....One could self combust by the sounds of it. Discovered by chance in TNT manufacture. Workers had extreme blood pressure reading. I used the spray under the tongue at the onset of Angina before my triple heart bypass. 4 years ago.

Hi, That happened to me. My GTN spray contains Nitro Glycerine and the detector picked it up. I was told to sit to one side, asked a few questions and was in my way in no time. All in good humour and not a problem. Glad to know how good our security is.
