Hello, 💐 I can understand that you are upset about how you feeling. When taking steroids your immune system is extremely low, or better you have none. Special if you stop and start again. People with lung problems suffering longer with infections and it takes longer to heal. I know it is very difficult to have not much air to breathe, but you should try to have a bit fresh air, keep yourself warm. Eat healthy with lots of vitamins, chicken and fish and salads. And fruit salads, I always eat avocado to help the liver recover when taking steroids, it's really important that you eat healthy.

To boost your immune system, even buy Actimel or yacult. Do some breathing exercises, have a look at Yoga there are some good tips to relax and breath better.

As well speak to your GP, you need to talk to them, about your problems. Ask for pulmonary rehabilitation, or get in touch with the nurses on this forum, they can be very helpful, to try to support you. I wish you well, hope that you will feel better again, take it easy 🌹🕯️🌹

Maybe the steroids (and I guess antibiotics) didn't shift the infection and possibly you need more. Did you get a Dr Appointment?

Honey if you struggle is so extreme and you can't get an appointment, than go to hospital, It sounds like the steroids don't help you anymore. I believe this has to be addressed quickly, I mean you have kids if there are little they can't help you when something happened to you, so please don't wait this long to get help. 🌹

Thanku for your concern, doctors have rung me and she’s saying upon reading a letter from the hospital I need to be put on stronger heart tablets and up again in time until I get to the stage what I need to be on and also with me having copd and catching every bug going that don’t help but it’s more the heart failure that’s affecting me so hopefully in time when my treatment is at the right level I will start to feel a bit better fingers crossed 🤞 but thanku again it helps being able to chat n get advice xx

Hope you can stop talking the steroids? And do you know what you oxygen level is? It's not the same when you are at the phone with your doctor and not have a face to face consultation, to check all your functions.

But hey, hope you getting better. 🍀
