Thank you the blender is now in the bin cant stand electrical things that play up too scary resorted to hand masher and it still taste good. Potatoes leek and carrots with a dash of garlic and sweet chilli sauce to make it a bit more exciting X

did you check the fuse ? and the wires in the plug ? often it is the simple things : I fixed a mini-blender ( for cappucinos ) : the battery connections were green : so just cleaned them !

I often make chunky soup / casserole, I like the chunks :P Enjoy your soup I am sure it will taste delicious. I just had baked beans on toast with a chunk of Somerset Brie :D

My favourite is broccoli. Small head of broccoli, slice the stem quite finely. Fry with half an onion for a bit, add water, stock cube, salt, pepper, simmer until soft. Liquidise til smooth.

Hand blenders and food processors are essential for me. I'm getting feebler, a carrot is a physical challenge

I add a little pasta to this and of course any smelly soft cheese, it makes it more filling x

Soup is so good for you, all the vitamins and goodness are retained in the liquid, and it’s easy to get swallow and digest. I often make soup with what ever veg I’ve got leftover in the fridge, topped up with a tin of chopped tomatoes and plenty of seasoning, yum!

I love soups Soul123 and make them regularly, I keep an eye on whatever veggies are on offer in the supermarket and have a store chopped in the freezer. Mushrooms were on offer this week, another favourite mine x
