I'm stage 4 Severe Emphysema , I Use the salt Pipe with the Knowledge of my Consultant who cannot advise me not to. I have taken it into Hospital and used it. You get to a Point where you will try anything (within reason) to Help your Symptoms, along with Meds, I'm on Oxygen also. Hope you Try, and then decide. Also Do your Breathing Exercises, this in conjunction with the Pipe is a huge help( For me). Good Luck Hun. XXX

I think I would like to try a salt pipe. Getting so tired of shortness of breath. I have been on puffers for years and pills when needed.

Where is the best place to purchase.

Thank you.

Hi there, I tried a salt pipe and cant say I noticed any difference but alot of people swear by them. I also use a salt lamp, again not a lot of difference for me. I think used long term they are a gentle relief, give them a try x

I find a salt pipe very useful when I have an infection, as using that and a salt lamp do seem to shorten the illness, especially when coupled with saline nasal rinses and Corsodyl daily mouthwash gargles.

I have been to a salt room where they spray a fine salt into a salt room which has salt bricks and salt crystals on the floor. I will say I do relax really well in there on the comfy chairs they have but my breathing was not any better?
