Our little mascot rides again again in the 4.30 at Musselburgh, where he won last time and over the same distance of 1mile 1 furlong .
it is good to see him ride again as it is almost 2 months since he gallantly triumphed for his dodgy lung club fans,
if one were to wager i would recommend no more than an each way bet as he is up against some reasonable competition especially a horse called Luna Magic who may well show a moonie to our gallant lad if things go wrong.
Good luck to all,i shall be busy attending the walk in centre or A&E which i have put of for some time to avoid the weekend madness but my recent swallowing difficulty has developed into a full blown throat restriction and i am unable to eat any foods even pureed for some three days now and i fear this needs somewhat urgent attention though thankfully i can still sip water to stave of dehydration and my breathing appears not to be affected.
Wish us both luck and enjoy the rest of your evening .
Much Love Skinny Ski's and a well fed cat xx

I don't want to see an on call trainee for an endoscopy whilst sitting amongst a load of drunken people in a crappy local hospital so my plans are to attend when decent staff are available ,it's safer jane but thanks for the concern. x
I understand your reasons Mike and would normally agree, but you dont know what this is and it could suddenly turn serious, you might be in the best place and you could explain that you are really poorly and be put into a side room, where at least you could lie down and rest x
Well good luck to our little mascot lets hope he romps home.
I am very concerned to hear of your problem swallowing Mike, when was your last meal? Please let us know how you get on, hopefully they can sort this out quickly x
Wednesday, bloody hell Mike, get yourself to the hospital on the double, you shouldnt have left it this long. Dont worry you say, you'll give me frown marks, get going x
Sorry to be so ignorant Skis, would you be comfortable to tell me why you have difficulty swallowing? Do you know what they will do to help you at A and E? Thinking of you and hope your problem will be sorted.
I'll be brief but i am not in a position to write an essay,i think either i have a restriction in the upper esophagus or whats called a food bolus,i have a condition called Barrets Esophagus but that is lower down so probably not the cause, basically i need a well controlled and skillful endoscopy to check what is happening to prevent stuff apart from liquid going down.
Oh bless you dear heart. Get that swallowing thing sorted asap. Good luck tomorrow for an easy scope.. as for the gee gees. Thats going to take second pkace over you
Hoping our little horsy friend does us proud. But more than that I hope everything goes well for you and something can be sorted out very quickly to improve your swallowing difficulties. Iβll be thinking of you. π΄
Kittykat,Bet placed and thank you for your concern, our walk in centre has been strapped onto A & E i believe so i shall be best going through the protocol,i hate enoscopy's but one is required now but i have retained proof from a previous endo that i am safe to mildly sedate so that should help a little but i need a skilled operative hence the slight managed delay. x
Ah ok regards walk in centre as its attatched to hosp maybe last thurs friday might have been wise you must be starving ......but im thinking of you with endoscopy not great I know but they will sort you out ....great you can have bit of sedation it will help take care xx
It is rather annoying and but for the reasons mentioned to Kittykat above i would have gone Saturday morning as the restriction worsened.meanwhile the furry one does not give a monkeys what's it and is eating for both of us.
Have a good week my dear Kate and hopefully sooner rather than later you can slow down.
S & S xxx
Sorry to read this Skis, you should have gone to Dyno-rod in order to get some food down there. I think you are wise waiting for A&E to clear of drunks and unsavoury types but hope the complaint hasnβt worsened as a result. Take care young Grasshopper and keep us informed. (About the horse)π
I'm quite shocked to hear of your swallowing problem ski's, I had no idea you were having such difficulties. Please get yourself off to hospital tomorrow asap - I don't blame you for wanting to avoid the weekend drunks but the sooner you have an endoscope the better. They're awful I know but they don't take very long and with Barrett's you really need to know what's happening. Will be thinking of you, and of course wishing you well - please let us know how you get on as soon as you can and don't let Scruff's eat all the tuna - it might be just what you fancy once you've been fixed. Best of luckπxx.
Thank you my dear Magpuss,i have a feeling it's nots associated with the barretts which was fairly low grade 18 months ago so i think maybe a bolus that needs dislodging or a constriction that needs dilating, hopefully something as simple as that maybe even an old toffee i can chew again lol but i am Hank Marvin as they say in the cockney world and the thought of that tuna with mayonnaise is very appealing.
Now that is a worry! I totally understand why you kept it to yourself ......... π but we would've found out Catch My Breath hasn't got much chance of winning tomorrow π€π!!
Seriously Ski's start your week off by getting a check up/down as to what's going on. Thinking of our mascot, sorry i mean thinking of you. ππ. ππ
Squirrels, you are now a prime suspect given that winter is approaching and should i find that a misplaced nut is to blame you can kinda guess where i am gonna come looking first and you really will need to catch your breath.thanks for your concern says Scruffs lol xx
Oh ,i seem to have a few extra π°π°'s .(Let's pretend it's a nut!)Will a sincere apology make amends,as sometimes I'm just not able to control my foraging for nuts ..... I've already been served with an ASBO!
Dear ski's thanks for the tip that catch my breath rides again. Will try another modest wager again. Loved your witty remark about his rival Luna Magic having the potential ability to show him a Moonie! Think that means an ew bet is on the cards. Hope you and catch my breath have the best of luck, you need to get some experienced medical assistance by the sound of it. Hopefully you'll be feeling a lot better soon and be able to eat properly again. We can't have you wasting away, skinny ski school and Scruffs is just too much alliteration. On a serious note though I wish you the very best. Take care of yourself and let us all know how you get on x
I am so sorry your having problems. I really hope your up and getting ready to go in to your local hospital ASAP! Please keep your fluid intake up at least. Regards
Carino I was Hoping you would Spill The Beans, oops, sorry I know you would rather eat them. Today you will get sorted out with your Mr B and Romp home in The fashion you do so well, With Scruffy always by your Side. Please let us all know your next Procedure, no doubt there will be one. I often think, Where are my Valves, will they get clogged in the mechanisms, Just a thought for your Endoscopy. Good Luck me Amigo, Mucho Besos Y Abrazos Siempre. XXXX
Hope you're already there Skis and getting proper attention. Thinking of you my friend, and the crazy wild west cat - yee haw! Please let us know how you get on.
Hi ski School, another pony riding on your mascot, only just noticed it. Nowt to loose after your last flyer. Sorry to hear your throat probs wish you all the best, you deserve it.
So sorry to hear this skischool did they not manage to do the endoscopy ? Such a horrific procedure as it is .. can they not help at all ? Thinking of you pal .. donβt worry about the horse Iβm not far from Musselburgh xxx
Hi, Ski School, Not a problem, certainly no need for an apology., it done well the time before so I ainβt complaining, had a couple of wins at that meeting anyhow,
