Hi All

Hope you are all doing as well as can be expected x Went to see my own GP following a chat with locum about chest heart etc ref last post. Her referred me to A and E for a check-up and they have sent me to Cardio team. Not sure where l will be with all this still think it's my chest etc but l am not a Dr x He did not seem impressed that the locum had not sent me but I suppose they can only go on what they are presented with. Love and light to you all have a great day !😁😁

I have a high heart rate, which is my body trying to pump o2 around my body which to be honest is to be expected, I also have Arrhythmia along with Cardio Arterial Disease. I do not worry about it to much, just keep taking the prescribed medication. At rest my heart rate is 120 bpm, having a bath or walking and that jumps up to 155 bpm. Whilst I am at work it is around 135/140 bpm. My o2 is reasonably stable between 92 and 94 regardless of excersise.

Just take any prescribed meds at the same times religiously and you should be fine. I get up every morning to start taking my meds at 6:00 am, even on weekends and holidays to keep to regular times.

Has your heart rate always been this high, or is it since your lung condition?

I think it's since my lung condition never had any problems before the Dr l saw at hospital suggested it was Angina pain.

No, only since my lung problems. But as I said, I am not too concerned, yet. I try to remain calm because otherwise it can affect my breathing.
