Glue just 4 U.

In my chest I have inside

A factory making glue

If you want something sticking down

Then I'm the man for you

I produce three different colours

Depending on how I feel

Green seems the most plentiful

And has the most appeal.

So come and place your order

I can supply the pot.

The stickiness is guaranteed

The colour, I'm glad, is not.

I'm in the same boat as you Don. I also got a glue factory in my chest with similar variable colours available.🤧

I was afraid there might be some competition. 🤔

Lots of well established " glue " factories and I'm sure theres a government scheme that's helping to start up new businesses don

I’m married to a lovely man

Who keeps us all in glue

Colour varies all the time

Whatever can we do?

The sticky stuff flows on and on

For Pete it’s nothing new

I’d hoped one day it would all be gone

And then I would turn to you......dear Don.

Take care xxxx😘

Master Po,your poems did us inspire

Each day you raised our spirits higher

But please don't let your standards rot

With all this stuff in praise of snot.

Spent a little time in children's chest ward, one of those built high up to get the clearer air. The main treatment (as it seemed to me) was percussion, a Physio used to roll me onto my front, shoved a shaped pillow under me, so that my chest sloped down to my head and would then bang up and down my back. I had to hold a pot, into which I was supposed to spit. I learnt all about the colours then, all staff were most disappointed , I did not have an infection as had been admitted after an allergic reaction to a wasp sting, however us children used to compare pots !!

Oh, I love that one! Your poem will go down well with us who have lung disorders. Out of interest I have downloaded a sputum colour chart which gives you an idea of the depth and quality o6f your mucus. This is from cream to yellownto green an finally greenish brown. You know, of course that the green one you refer to is not a healthy colour.

Cheers for now

Good evening Mr.D and I'm currently in my factory and you are totally right as green does seem to be the favourite colour!

Thanks for the offer!

BUT I think I will stick with Gorilla Glue!

A great business in the making, Don, but you should be more expansive in your thinking. Form a cooperative, as fruit farmers do, and combine ‘’harvests’. You have plenty of growers here on the forum. It would be wonderful to get some payback for the work hours spent on lung clearance...I mean lung harvesting.

in reply to Kpacific

I do wish you hadn't mentioned 'harvesting' that has put me right off the idea. 🤮
