Inogen one G4

Good morning all. Now I've had an oxygen test to see f pulse oxygen suits me. Which it did. I'm looking into purchasing maybe an Inogen oneG4 as it's very small. Has anyone else got one, what are the pros and cons please??

Thanks for asking this question. I too am curious. My portable weighs just under five pounds and after an hour shopping it becomes very heavy. Hope to see several responses. J

The G4 goes to 3lpm. Lightweight at 1.27kg 4cell battery

1.49kg with 8 cell battery ( recommended)

Duration set 1 2:40 on 4 cell 5:00 on 8 cell

set 2 2.15 on 4 cell 4:30 on 8 cell

Set 3 1;20 on 4 cell 2:30 on 8 cell

The 8 cell would be more viable.

Alternative is to speak to oxygen provider about a NHS supplied portable. Slightly heavier but no cost to you.

I use the G3 which goes to 5 lpm handy that I can charge in car, as it’s only for Ambulitory use I’m more less guaranteed to have a full battery, for me on 4 lpm gives me two hours.

Very helpful. I'm only on 1lpm but the weight means a lot to me as I have curvature of the spine so everything seems heavy.Im only on oxygen 15/24 and most of that is overnight.

When I go out I find the nhs cylinders doo heavy

You could look at the Focus, works at 2 lpm may be suited subject to trial run only weighs 0.8kg, waist band or shoulder strap

I'm looking at a GCE-O, I need a 2l/min constant overnight, plus 2l/min ambulatory through the day.

It's 10.8lbs, and it can take 2 battery cells - bloody dear though.

Airsep Focus. Smallest and lightest on the market. 2 Litres per minute pulsed delivery so no good if you need higher rate and/or continuous. Batteries last 1.5 hours, 4 hrs charging time but can charge in car. An 'airbelt' is an optional accessory which adds 4 hours.
