I knew that this might happen
It's an age thing don't you see
A damp patch on my trousers
Where it should not ought to be.
Another thing to deal with
Along with all the rest
Wearing pads and all that stuff
Will be a real pest.
But hang on just a minute
What is this I find?
A tomato in my pocket
Of the damp and squashy kind.
The moral of this story
Is very clear to see
When I go to pick tomatoes
Take a plastic bag with me.
