I have crackling in left lower lung.

Hi ! I am healthy male. I got crackling (it's like buzzing) in my left lower lung (I am not sure it's my lung but it's in that area, and it's always in the same spot) especially when I am slouching or crouching. I don't have any other symptoms. I have it like almost a year but it comes and goes . I didn't have it when i am standing. It can't be heard outside. Also I am allergic to dust mites. I'm away from home . So I can't see my doctor right now.Is it something serious ?

Hi there, just saw your post.

Well if I hear a crackling sounds come from my lung. I definitely know that an infection is close.

Crackles are often associated with inflammation or infection of the small bronchi I was told. I would get in touch with my GP to make sure that I get antibiotics and get rid of it.b

Hope you will get back to normal again after you sorted this out 🌺🌺🌺 take care!!

Yeah it s been a year but it comes and goes. It's gone for a 3 months i believe and started 5 days ago. But last 2 days the cracklings got weaker. I hardly feel them.

Hi I am a bit confused as you put the same post up 2 days ago? There are no professional medics on this site so we cannot diagnose you. If you have had it for a year and no other symptoms I doubt anything could be wrong.

It will wait until you can see your doctor. x

Hi, I am sorry. Yeah I put the same post twice. At first I put the post in the wrong section. Thank you for answering. I am an anxious person and away from home . That's why I want some replies maybe similliar stories.

Hi do you have a cough with your symptoms as i did with crackling in my left lung lots of sputum also. Had a bug called haemophillus influenzae. Was nasty and took 9 months on azythromycin to go. Up to now im fine. Did sputum cultures with my gp to diagnose. Good luck. Hope you get well soon. Karen. Xxx

Lol ! I think it's mucus. Because it's got weaker today. Probably it goes.
