Severe pain

Hey guys I'm 2.5 years post single lung transplant and last two days o have had pain on the inside of my incision site and since last time the pain has got significantly worse it feels as though I'm being stabbed over and over. And today I'm much the same. Has anyone any advise on what to do who to call as I would feel a bit stupid if they said it was nothing and I had just pulled a muscle but this pain is not muscular at all .

All chest pain should be investigated as of serious concern. Nobody will think of you as being stupid. Better safe than sorry, conversely, leaving it would be stupid.

Phone 111 and explain to them how you’re feeling ejbid. It needs investigating. Let us know how things go. Xxxxxx

I would phone 111 as sassy suggested or you could phone the surgeons secretary who did this op and ask their advice. Did they not give you advice when you were discharged on who to contact if you had any problems? whatever you do you must not leave it x

Never feel stupid when you have something out of the ordinary. Get checked and let the doctor make the decision as to whether it is serious or something to be concerned about. The old saying better safe than sorry.
