Today I am feeling more positive (although that feeling is up and down each day!). I had a 30 minute brisk walk along the sea wall, no inhaler needed and no real breathlessness. I then went and signed up for the local gym for the swimming pool and Pilates classes. And finally back to the allotment for half hour. I am finding that a bit of exercise in the fresh air is far more beneficial to how deep I can breathe. My breathing has definitely improved since I stopped the Seretide, so I will be discussing about a different preventer when I see the doctor on Monday. Have a good weekend everyone and if we are really lucky the sun might return 😀

Onward and upward PurpleAlf, long may that positivity last. You’re doing all the right things. Xxxx
Hello PurpleAlf. I have been going to Pulmonary rehab for 2 years now and always feel better after doing the exercises and the walking. I am sure it definitely helps. Good luck with ur endeavours. 👍🤓
Try to not let bad days get you down (always easy for someone else to say, of course) We all have bad days physically and mentally, sometimes it can be just a tiny thing that turns it into a bad day. It’s not necessarily a setback, just a bad day. I’m glad you’re having a good day today. Being able to move about and get out is a blessing because it aids the circulation which helps to reduce fatigue and thus breathlessness... or maybe that’s all in my mind and I just invented that, who knows?! But it makes me feel better anyway. I hope you get another inhaler sorted out for you on Monday. It can be a long ongoing thing trying to find the right one. If your doctor is willing to keep trying that’s already a bonus. Enjoy your day 🍅🌶🥕
That’s very good, good on you! Am sure this will make you feel so much better. Am hoping to do the same xx

Every day is a blessing as far as I am concerned.
I feel we all need to live in the moment. If I did not have COPD I would still want to do that. So well done on putting in the effort to feel better.
At the end of the day, “ If its to be, its up to me.”
Good wishes and long may you continue to do well.
Good news that you are feeling well today PurpleAlf and getting plenty of fresh air and exercise can only be a good thing. I think some of these inhalers can make your breathing worse so hope you get one that suits you x
Good news PurpleAlf- I love being out in the fresh air - feel so much better - swimming is a great help to the lungs - have a good day
Wonderful news! So impressed with how much you are getting done! After being housebound for 4 weeks I managed a little walk today which was great.
Good morning PurpleAlf, I hope that you got some help from your doctor. Have you been swimming yet? I think without swimming, my symptoms would be much worse.
Hi flicky1, thank you for thinking about me. I did get some help from the doctor, she actually gave me some antihistamines which are like little miracle pills! I have energy, I can breathe, my nose is no longer blocked and I don’t have a sinus headache! All just in time as I am on holiday now. I hope you are all good? X
