I am taking vit d have been for months that's not helped, but thank you so much for suggestions

Mine do the same thing. Misshapen, split, peel. I believe it’s from all the meds I take.

I tried several different things to no evail .....then I started a course of magnesium citrate tablets for my bones I have osteoporosis in my spine. After a while I began to notice my nails were doing much very much better, In fact I'm back to wearing nail varnish again no more creaks and splits. Can only assume it's the magnesium that helped. Emily I cannot recall which member it was but someone posted about 4 months or so ago about. treatment they were trying. Hopefully they will see this post and get back to you.

As far as energy is concerned as I mentioned, BARROCA is worth trying.

It has masses of vitamin B plus vitamin C and other bits and pieces. It works for me and remember to take it well before mid day. It’s readily available and I use the blackcurrant flavour as the orange may be best avoided with silent reflux .

Might be worth checking your vitamin B levels also via a blood test.

So glad you are sounding stronger. Good wishes as always 😉

Good stuff. Hope the perfume didn’t cause a reaction.

Other than being a nice fragrance that is 😉😉😉

Rub almond oil into cuticles. Buy from a chemist, it's cheaper.

Hi there - I'm on Targetted Therapy for NSCLC and have suffered for ages with nails splitting down and general weakness of nails, obviously due to the meds. I have now been using a product called Nailtek for just a few weeks and can already see a difference. It is very important to use cuticle cream and to ease the cuticle back to allow the nail to grow from the base also. The Nailtek I'm using is No.4 for weak, damaged nails. You can get it from Amazon. Good luck. Diz xxx

Hi Emily.

I just looked back at your other post where you mentioned your low BP, and wondered whether there was a connection between this and your brittle nails, because iron deficiency anaemia is known to cause the latter. Of course, there may be no connection at all, but while your having these various tests, you might just mention it?

Hope you have a lovely holiday in Spain - I'm sure some rest will do you good.
