Hi everyone,

It can be due to a burst blood vessel in the throat. With coughing a lot, or huffing a lot, your throat gets a lot of wear and tear. If it’s a small amount of blood, that could be the explanation. But, I am not in any way knowledgeable about these things and if you’re concerned you could ask your doctor about it. Best wishes to you.
Hi I get that sometimes but mine is due to coughing a lot with a cold. I do agree that if you are worried to get it checked with the doctor. x
I get that a lot, the doctor calls it localized bleeding as it only happens when I try to clear my throat or if I have had to use my inhaler without chamber. Try gargaling with a diluted mouth wash.
That must be an ask the doctor question. Coughing up blood is worth taking advice on.
