I bought one for my daughter a short time ago for around £45 so she can take away on holiday with her as it is small and light and she is thrilled with it. However you first need to find out if your GP will prescribe the medication to use in it.

I have one which I take everywhere with me. Its an absolute godsend when you just can't catch your breath. As per the other post though, you need to talk to your GP about prescribing the medication for it. If you are regularly being put on a neb in the hospital or at the GPs - shouldn't be a major problem.

Also, make sure you clean it thoroughly after each use - I carry antibacterial wipes with it.

Pete wouldn’t be without his so I hope you find one to suit you. Do your research and make sure you can get the meds to go with it. Xxxxxx

Hi I bought one and mentioned to GP he said unless it’s been prescribed re hospital resp nurse/ consult don’t use it.Why I asked he said it can make you feel ok but inside it can be causing irreplaceable damage to your lungs. So I sent mine back as I hadn’t opened it.When I ho see Consultant I’m going to ask about about what the GP has told me.

I use mine when l go out,and when l wake in the early hours, saves waking the neighbours. When lm bad lm on 4 nebulas a day. When lm stable l have one or two,and lm fine.

I’ve got two the cheaper one is better than the expensive one.Brilliant, get the salbutamol nebs to go in it.

You must get one, also dyson humidifier kept me alive last summer!

Not what you're looking for?
