I have had 2 beautiful hanging baskets of violas and winter flowering pansies, they survived the winter and my extended stay in hospital but the recent dry spell did for them. Because I've not been paying attention to them I've lost the lot!! It at least had reminded us that the pits need watering so my darling husband has taken it on every evening. I don't want to lose my standard rose and holly plus many more. The hanging baskets dried out so quickly so this is Just a wee reminder to keep an eye open for them.xx

That’s a shame but I agree hanging baskets do dry out quickly. We haven’t bothered with them this year. Xxxx
Cantbebothereditis (CBB) strikes again!
🤣😂🤔 yes it certainly does Don! Xxxxx
I said that I wouldn’t be bothered to do tomatoes again but my greenhouse is now full of plants in growbags again. 🤷♂️
Well you’re a Couldbebothered person Don. Tomatoes with everything eh? Enjoy. Xxxxx
I grew 2 hanging baskets of tomatoes last summer, I was dead chuffed as I had more than I could use so everyone round about got a few, I was even more chuffed since I'd bought the plants ready potted at Aldi for about £3.99 each!
A blackbird has decided to make a nest in my viola basket, so no watering from now on .
I have grown tomato plants from a squashed cherry tomato, saw the idea on you tube, but last year I saved tomato seeds on a piece of kitchen towel, planted them inside and lo and behold new little plants.
