Good Morning Lung Buddies

I am writing this post, because in the past few months I have found using my Spiolto Respimat inhaler quite an ordeal. Previously it was fine, but now it seems to hit the back of my throat and I gag and cough like a maniac. The second dose followed a few moments later - I am actually waiting over a minute for the second dose does exactly the same. Is it something I am doing, or is it the inhaler doing it to me?

My consultant, is for ever on the missing list, and I don't get to see or hear from him and my GP has the faintest ideas. So, I thought, I know I will speak to the experts... you darling folk!

Hi, I have Spiriva Respimat which I use with a spacer. This technique might help you.

Don’t know Spiolto inhaler is it power or vapour. I can’t use powder inhalers as the powder sticks to the back of the throat so I use spiriva respermat which is a fine mist inhaler. Hope you solve your problem

Yes there is a respiratory nurse, shame that my gp didn't offer the option of seeing her. I will go back and see if I can get an appointment - thanks
