Thank heaven for small victories, thank you for enabling me to shower,wash my hair ,brush my teeth, put my socks on and tie my own shoelaces , ( deep breath ) for putting my own screen wash in my car, for eating a cooked breakfast all without losing my breath and more importantly for being at peace with myself .

So far so good popie , its,not made me want to dig out my shell suit and addidas trainers and go for a run yet ( thank god, im sure the fashion police would arrest me lol ) but it would be nice to go back to the 80s when i was fit and healthy ( big sigh)

I got chatted up by a man in a uniform who was very fit, dark and handsome. We arranged to meet and I was excited. Oh what a letdown, soulboy had lent him his shell suit!! Hope the day goes well
Seems i lent my shell suit to a sly dog , ill find him one day lol
When it was your turn to wear the suit...... Did you swagger when you walked and hold your arms out as if you had boils in your armpits? Also, please tell me it had some purple in it.
You missed out the constipated expression on the face of all shell suit wearers ,luckily i wouldnt be seen dead in one but i do remember thd purple colour ,said shell suit wearers wore timberland boots to go on a night out as well

In my book those big victories, I don't know how you have achieved them but I hope it all continues for you.
To be honest nor do i , ive tried that many combinations of food ,meds ,vitamins it drives me nuts at times what ive worked out is moderation in everything have a varied diet and be grateful for small mercies
Oh yes soulboy118 ,wouldn't that be just the best thing ever,to go back in time to when we were all healthy(or healthier)! We have to settle for all the memories we've stored up I suppose? Good to read you're doing well and your quite right,I think,in everything is ok if it's in moderation!!!!😜😝😋
Memories are wonderful , thankfully we can still make more and as good as it is to look back we must look to the future and hopefully a new funny story to remember

Hi what great news I’m so happy for you, I understand how difficult it is when you need to rely on others for help with what may seem like little things but I know by my own life they’re big big things , I’m also thankful along the you as I managed to bath get p.j. On and brush my hair for first time in a long time I couldn’t style hair and did fall into bed afterwards and slept for about 2hrs it was very difficult but I felt so much determination kept telling myself I could do it and I did 👍😃 so well done you I’m actually so happy for you, it’s great to hear of such a big achievement , things that we used to take for granted are no more but your getting there. I’m really over the moon for you 😄😄🌹

With only 18% lung function left im at a loss myself ,i put it down to almost continuous pulmonary rehab that my health district does ,a good diet ,keep to my meds and dont consider any ordinary task to much trouble ,
At times vitorio im like a fish out of water trying to gulp air in but i know no matter how bad it gets im gonna be ok , i cant do baths anymore its showers for me ,stairs are my nemisis and humidity well dont get me started on that , ive had copd since 2005 so ive come to terms with it and i choose winnable battles with it ,hope you are ok at the mo
