hi I have just been prescribed the new trinmbow inhaler should you shake the inhaler before use or not I have been given conflicting advice on this hope you can help

Hi have you asked your pharmacy?

I use the Braltus which is a capsule and give that a shake before use. Ventolin is a spray and I always shake that and I also did when I was on Seretide.

Hi tywy, my inhalers were changed a few months ago. Now on trimbow and the pharmacist at the copd clinic told me to shake the inhaler before use.

I was told to always shake the inhalers as they contain a inhalant and a propellant which separate when not in use so you shake them to mix them otherwise you only get the propellant. Keep smiling
