Further test

Well letter through 8th May having following test single breath diffusion. Lung volumes by plethysmography and flow/volume studies. None of which I understand but will then see consultant 24th June for results.

Emily I don't know how they do things there but cant they just do a c-t scan and that would give them all the information they need!

I don't know is a long time but got to get on with my life until then I guess bit anxious but can't be anxious for months ....was tearful when I got letter due to length of time still tearful today but that's life really.

Yes, these long waits are hard to bear, but the dates do come round eventually! Sometimes the long dates are a good sign....the medics have no significant worries that they think need urgent treatment. Let us know how things go when the time does come, Emily 🌸

A CT scan gives totally different information les4560. It gives a very clear picture done in sections right over the whole lungs. It doesnt give information about how the lungs are functioning.

yes that is true but I thought they were looking to see if she had emphysema which a c-t scan would show if she did, but I must be mistaken
